Now AI Trump reads Bible stories for children

’Tis the season when Christians flock to theaters or streaming services to watch the latest children’s cartoon movie about the birth of Jesus. But in the world of Christian nationalists, 2025 has been the year of utilizing AI.
After Charlie Kirk was murdered, white evangelicals began posting videos of an AI Charlie Kirk talking to their churches from heaven as a martyr. Then a couple of weeks ago, the top artist on Apple Music for the Christian category turned out to be an AI singer named Solomon Ray, who also released a new album called “A Soulful Christmas.” Like the creators of AI Charlie Kirk, the creator of Solomon Ray was a January 6 insurrection-supporting Christian nationalist.
So what happens when insurrectionist Christians combine AI, children’s entertainment, and Christmas?
A Nativity book of an AI Donald Trump narrating the birth of Jesus.
‘Your favorite president’
“In these pages, you’ll hear the greatest president in American history sharing his thoughts on the most important birthday the world has ever known — the birth of Jesus Christ,” the book’s intro says.
It’s titled The Birth of Jesus: As Narrated by Your Favorite President. The art features an image of Trump in his blue suit and red tie intermingling with Mary, Joseph, Jesus and the animals. It’s advertised as “Designed & Illustrated in USA.” But what the creators are most proud of is the button kids can press to hear Trump reading the book to them.
Of course, it’s not actually Trump. Like AI Charlie Kirk and AI Solomon Ray earlier this year, it’s an AI Donald Trump. “Thanks to some remarkable AI technology, we’ve captured his unmistakable voice and style to bring this sacred and joyful story to life,” the book’s intro explains.
“OK. I have to show you the most unique Christmas book I’ve ever seen,” says a smiling white mom sitting in her Christmas decorated living room. “It’s called The Birth of Jesus. And yes, it’s narrated by Donald Trump. Kids love pressing the buttons. And each page comes alive with his voice telling the Nativity story.”
“I wasn’t sure what to expect,” she adds as her two smiling children sit on either side of her on the couch. “But honestly, it’s a huge hit in our house. It’s perfect for families and even collectors. Definitely the most memorable Christmas book I’ve ever owned.”
In one of the promo videos, Trump complains about King Herod like he complains about the media, saying, “Total lie folks! King Herod. So dishonest!” Then one of the kids listening on the couch says in a disgusted tone, “Liar!”
