In this episode, I read and discuss an article I wrote on July 10, 2020 for Baptist News Global entitled “In ‘Hamilton’ King George has Calvin on his side.” After reading the piece, I give a historical overview of a number of influential Calvinist voices over the centuries, and discuss today’s Pop Calvinism of Grace To You, Desiring God, The Gospel Coalition, the Center for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, etc. I also talk about why there is such a diverse spectrum of Calvinists today causing abuse or calling out abusers.
